Eight Rosenthal Selb Hand-Painted Plates
Item Details
Eight Rosenthal Selb hand-painted plates. These plates with the ‘Rosenthal Selb Germany’ mark were manufactured in Austria. These eight feature fully painted surfaces with ethereal tondos of fairies and cherubs in playful and loving scenes amongst trees and water. Surrounding each center is a rim full of ten courting scenes. These are marked to the back ‘Rosenthal Selb-Germany’ in green, ‘Made in Austria’ in red, and Stamped ‘Herzog Galleries Houston Texas’ and ‘Hand-Painted’ in red.

- minor chips, loss to paint in some areas.
