A hand knotted Bakhtiari area rug. This rug features a central medallion with corner spandrels in a palette of reds, blues and cream. The red field has a pattern of flowers in a palette of blue, cream and red. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a daisy pattern on a red field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Bakhtiari rug made in Iran.
