A hand tufted Mahal area rug. This rug features a Tree of Life pattern in a palette of red, light green and tan. The red field has a series of lanceolate leaves, palmettes and botehs throughout. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a daisy pattern on a tan field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Mahal rug made in India.
