Antique Chinese Brass Buckle with Bat Motif

An antique Chinese brass buckle. This two piece buckle features Chinese longevity characters to center flanked by a pair of bats, a rebus meaning “may you have double blessings” (雙福 shuang fu). The buckle has a hook closure and metal loops to verso. 1938.25.a & b
