A machine made Tayse Cambridge area rug. This rug features a central floral medallion in a palette of blue, white, grey and yellow. The grey field has a pattern of palmettes with arabesque leaves intertwined throughout in a palette of grey, blue, white and yellow. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a carnation pattern on a grey field. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Tayse rug made in Turkey.
