19th Century Lidded Boxes

Item Details

A pair of nineteenth century wooden boxes. The featured example is a cylindrical pantry box. These pieces, as the name suggests, were used in a pantry or cupboard to keep mice from the contents. The pantry box is accompanied by a carved box with a faux grain painted exterior and rectangular finial.

- splits, scratches, and some chips throughout.
