A machine made Turkish area rug from the Laguna Collection of Tayse rug company. The rug has a central medallion in a pointed star shape in earth tones. The tan field has a series of palmettes and lanceolate leaves intertwined in an arabesque pattern in a palette of earth tones. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border features a crenellated lotus blossom pattern in earth tones on a tan field. The rug bears a tag to the reverse that indicates it was machine made in Turkey.
