Antique Hand-Carved Duck Decoy

Item Details

An antique hand-carved duck decoy attributed to the Shury Estate in Virginia, possibly from the 1880s. This decoy has a rotating head and a ballast ‘ghost.’ It is painted in black and white paint.

Condition

- missing eyes and ballast; wear, cracks, gouging, and holes (possibly from shot) to body.
