A hand knotted Turkish Heriz area rug. This rug features a geometric shaped central medallion in a palette of earth tones. The red field has spandrels in a palette of blues and tan. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a crab pattern on a tan field. The rug has a natural warp rope style fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Heriz rug made in Turkey.
