Pair of Effanbee's Dy Dee Doll with Trunk and Accessories
Item Details
A pair of Effanbee’s Dy-Dee dolls with trunk and accessories. This ‘Drink and Wet’ doll was introduced in 1933. They feature rubber bodies and rubberized composition heads. Dolls can be fed through their open mouths where a tubing runs from the mouth to buttocks. A plug allowed her to wet when removed. Included with this lot is an Effanbee trunk with some clothes that may not be original, some hand made. Marked to both doll’s back is marked ‘EFF-N-BEE Toy Dy-Dee Baby’.
Condition
- shows signs of wear consistent with use and age showing splitting and cracks to the body of the doll and sometimes the sleep eyes stick open; suitcase has some staining with rips and bubbles in suitcase cover material.
