Item Details

An antique Chinese porcelain vase and stand. This miniature piece features white porcelain body with a hand-painted dragon grasping for a flaming pearl over water rendered in shades of vermilion and mint green. The vase rests on a carved teak wood stand. Unmarked, the vase likely dates from the late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) or Republic period (1912-1949). Paper labels are affixed to the underside. 1938.0129. 1b
