A hand knotted Indian runner rug. This rug features a series of guls running along the center of the rug in a palette of earth tones. The tan field has a pattern of scrolled acanthus leaves in a palette of earth tones. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a lanceolate pattern on a tan field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is made in India.
