A hand knotted Sirjan Afshar area rug. This rug features a series of memling guls in a palette of red blue and white. The blue field has a pattern of animals in a palette of red blue and white. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has an arrow pattern on a white field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Sirjan rug made in Iran.
