Antique Chinese Brass and Glass Buckle

An antique Chinese brass buckle with glass ‘stones’. This brass constructed piece features a molded green glass flower to center flanked by two larger, molded red glass flowers. It has decorated loops and a hook to verso.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
Sold to enhance and preserve the Institution’s mission-relevant Collections
