An offset lithograph after an East Asian style illustration of a town scene. This print on paper depicts two women dressed in decorative kimonos, one of which holds on to a small child. Two figures point upwards at silhouetted bamboo stalks adorned in decorative lighting globes and scrolls inscribed with Asian characters. To the lower left corner of the composition is an vertical arrangement of Asian characters and a red stamp, which is presumably the artist’s signature. The print is mounted to a hollow wooden box with a foliate backing punctured to the top center for hanging.
