An expertly rendered German Oil painting. This piece is signed, and though the signature is illegible, there is a clear date placing the creation of this work to 1964. This rendering features a German countryside, with a horse-drawn goods wagon preparing to enter the city gates, under a cloudy sky, and surrounded by a mountain range. Executed in an earthy palette of brown, tan, green, beige and gray. Signed and dated by the artist to the lower right.
