A hand knotted Gabbeh accent rug. The rug features a series of earth toned animals and plants on a blue field. The field shows some abrash lines where the dye lots were changed and has two olive toned spandrels in opposite corners. The rug has a compound border in earth tones. The main border features a geometric design on a rust colored field. The rug bears a tag to the reverse that indicates it is a hand knotted Gabbeh accent rug from Iran.
