Pair of 19th Century Well Carved Nephrite Jade Chinese Dragons

A pair of late 19th century Chinese nephrite jade dragons, well carved in a crouched pose with curled tails and a baby dragon on the back. The green mottled stone is worked well to accentuate the horned dragons features; scaled body, talons, spiraled tail, fangs, curled tongue, flared nose and deeply furrowed brow. Interestingly, the baby dragon’s atop the back of each dragon are carved in a more stylized manner.

Condition

One carved dragon is in very good condition, the other in fair condition with one chipped horn.
