Late 19th Century Victorian Paint-Decorated Washstand

Item Details

A late 19th century Victorian paint-decorated washstand. The wooden, black-painted case is decorated with gold tone outlines. It features a white marble top backed by an arched gallery with a pair of candle shelves. Directly below the top is a single drawer over a pair of cabinet doors. The drawer front is fitted with two scrolled handles centered by a gold tone, floral spray. The washstand rises on a molded base ending in casters.
