Selection of Wedgwood Featuring Jasperware
Item Details
A selection of Wedgwood. This group includes two Jasperware bud vases with white molded neoclassical style figures of cupid with birds and leaf garlands and an oval earthenware serving bowl with a basket weave design, pierced edges, and a blue depiction of a ship in a harbor to the center. These pieces are marked ‘Wedgwood’ to the underside. The lot also includes a framed square tile with a depiction of a dead deer and flying eagle. It reads ‘Where the Carcase is, There will the Eagles be Gathered Togehter’. It is presented in a wooden frame.
Condition
- bowl: light surface scratches, some adhesive residue on edge of inside, would benefit from cleaning; vases: small surface marks; tile: light scratches, top left corner chipped, wooden frame has scratches and chips in wood.
