A Rococo style secretary bookcase by Maitland-Smith.The case has an antiqued, white finish with scrolled-foliate and floral motifs. It features a rocaille ornament above a molded cornice and a pair of blind-paneled, cabinet doors. The doors open to a three shelf interior over a slant-front writing surface. The slant front opens to a fitted desk interior with pigeonholes and drawers. Directly below is a stack of three long drawers and the whole piece rises on bracket feet.
