Well Executed 18-19th Century Tibetan Thangka Scroll Painting of Ushnishavijaya

A well-executed late 18th to early 19th century Tibetan Buddhist thangka scroll painting featuring the female bodhisattva Ushnishavijaya. She is depicted seated in dhyanasana pose upon a lotus throne. Dressed in richly decorated garments, headdress, and jewelry, the bodhisattva has three heads which are yellow, white (center), and blue. Her eight arms hold various attributes including an image of the Buddha, a vishvavajra (crossed double vajra), a white lotus, an arrow, a lasso, a bow, and a nectar vase. Two of her hands are held in the abhaya and varada mudras. Ushnishavijaya is surrounded by several figures including two bodhisattvas, a lama, and several of the dharmapala including Yama and Yamantaka. The painting is rendered in vibrant pigment and gilding on cloth with a simple red and mustard yellow border. The hand painted detailing and overall condition of this painted scroll is noteworthy. The scroll is presented loose and unframed.
Condition
The antique painted scroll is in very good to good condition, it retains its borders, the colors are vibrant and there are no creases or tears.
