The shoulder, neck, and foot are embellished with intricate floral and geometric patterns, all rendered in shades of blue overglaze over a white body. The underside is marked ‘Made by the Sei Jikai Company, Ltd.’ (精磁會社製之 Sei Jikai Shasei no), a mark identified as a producer of Arita/Imari ware in the late Meiji period.
