An assortment of geode slabs and a geode. This assortment of three geologic specimens features a geode slab that displays a brown and blue banded cryptocrystalline rim that grades into a clear coarse crystalline zone with minor brown staining. Also included is a dyes geode slab that displays a dark grey outer rim of cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into a zone of clear coarse crystalline quartz with an inner layer of blue cryptocrystalline quartz with druzy quartz lining the central cavity and a geode that displays a blue outer rim of cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into a zone of clear coarse crystalline quartz with an inner layer of blue cryptocrystalline quartz with druzy quartz lining the central cavity.
