A signed open edition offset lithograph on cream colored paper titled Make Art Not War by contemporary street artist Shepard Fairey (United States, b. 1970), printed in 2017. The work depicts a woman with flowers in her hair, encircled with a rose garland and paintbrushes on either side of a blooming lotus. ‘OBEY’ and a star with the image of André the Giant (France, 1946 – 1993) sit below the woman. The words ‘Make Art Not War’ surround the image in white against a red background. Signed and dated by the artist in graphite to the lower right margin. Presented under acrylic glass in a black painted wood frame.
