A 1968 limited edition woodblock print on paper by Japanese sōsaku-hanga artist Tajima Hiroyuki (田嶋 宏行, 1911-1984). The Shōwa-era piece, titled Wind Erosion A (風触 A), depicts abstract shapes in muted earth tone hues. The piece is signed in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and numbered ‘50-42’ to the lower center. It is matted in off-white linen and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. - creasing present to paper; toning to print with age; 1970s label adhered to verso; light scratching to frame finish.
