A limited edition photolithograph on BFK Rives paper titled Les Caprices Pinces Princiers from the Les Diners de Gala series by well-listed Spanish artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) with a remarque in the bottom margin. Depicted are a series of poultry dishes with imagery of human skulls and mournful figures. A small engraved remarque titled La Cuillere aux Bequilles depicts a spoon resting on horizontally on crutches as a bishop walks underneath with someone holding his cloak. Numbered 147 in an edition of 395 in graphite to the lower left margin. Signed in graphite by the artist to the lower right margin. Presented as a loose work on paper without a frame or mat. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue field 77-5 on page 110.

Condition

- numerous scratches to paper surface and print; curling paper corners; loss of pigment around the lower left, lower right, and upper right poultry dishes.
