Late 18th Century Polychrome Italian Sewing Stand

Item Details

A late 18th century polychrome Italian sewing stand. This piece retains hand-painted details in a palette of green, yellow, red, and blue, and is possibly Venetian. The hinged rectangular top is bowed, with carved details and features a painted scene of dancers and a musician. The apron features floral vignettes on all four sides. The table rises on four French cabriole legs.
