Sterling Silver Vintage Souvenir Spoons

A collection of sterling silver souvenir spoons. The pieces include a Canadian souvenir spoon from Thunder Cape by the firm of Roden Bros. of Toronto together with a spoon featuring the image of Pope Leo XII by Watson Company and Irish souvenir spoon for Killarney made by the Birmingham firm of James Edward Barry in the 1940’s. Also included are a ‘Humpty Dumpty’ baby feeding spoon and a Native American style spoon with a green stone cabochon set within a depiction of a Thunderbird. The pieces are all marked either ‘Sterling’ or ‘925’ or bear the British lion recumbent which is the English fineness symbol for sterling. The total approximate weight, including the enamel and set stone, is 2.570 ozt.
