1859 Russian Brass Samovar

Item Details

An antique Russian brass samovar dated 1859. The item has a basin for hot water and a spout for dispensing. It also has a flared rim around the top where a pot can sit to keep warm from the steam. There is Cyrillic text and a date mark on the front of the lid. 1938-0313 A & B

one handle detached and is missing wooden handle, other handle reattached with wire.
one wooden knob on lid missing.
does not have teapot.
chimney is brighter than body.
