Item Details

An antique early 20th-century handmade wooden chip-carved layered Tramp Art mail holder, with antique chromolithograph Victorian postcards displayed on the front-most hinged panel. This construction is painted silver and bronze tones, and retains original hand-rolled, antique glass panels protecting the postcards. A chain is attached to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- some of the top layers of the chip-carved woodwork are damaged. Postcards are used, with handwritten inscriptions and postmarks.
