Chinese Jade Belt Hook

Item Details

An antique Chinese carved jade belt hook. The belt hook has a button on the reverse and a dragon’s head curves up to form a hook on the top. The stone is highly polished and contains a few areas of russet. Accession number 1938.0069.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
