Early 19th Century Kentucky Sheraton Chest of Drawers
Item Details
An early 19th century Kentucky Sheraton chest of drawers in mahogany veneers with tiger maple trim. The chest has paneled sides and offers two side by side drawers over four further drawers in various sizes, all with cockbeaded edges, dovetail construction and replaced brass hardware (the original round brass pulls are included). The chest of drawers has diagonally reeded detailing at the sides and is elevated on turned feet.
Provenance; the chest was passed down through the family from a riverside Hebron, Kentucky collection.
