Chinese Jade and Stone Buckle

Item Details

A late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Chinese brass two-part buckle with light green spodomende framing two darker jadite stones and three other quartz stones in various tones. The stones are held in brass bezels, and each is finely polished. Accession number 1938.0011 A& B.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
