A Chinoiserie coromandel lacquer server cabinet. This cabinet features flip top counter which opens extends the serving space above a pair of panel front doors with medallion crest pull with an ornithological motif on a black lacquer field, outlined in a gilded scroll frame. The sides and back include additional painted panels of birds on branches and the cabinet rests on a plinth base. When the doors are opened, they reveal spindle banister shelving and additional storage.
