A signed offset lithograph on after an original painting by well-listed American genre painter Robert Fabe (1917-2004), titled Relic. This lonely, meloncholy image depicts an abandoned, dilapidated carriage with wooden wagon wheels, decaying in the cold winter snow in the midst of a vast frozen field. The print is signed by the artist and titled in pencil to the lower margin; mounted behind thin off-white mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame, equipped to hang. Additional information about the artist is attached to the verso. Fabe’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum; Miami University; University of Cincinnati; Dayton Art Institute; and the Butler Art Institute, as well as many reputed corporate collections.
