Chinese Carved Charm with Bamboo

Item Details

An antique Chinese carved light green soapstone medallion with bamboo wrapped to form a loop. The larger stalk of the bamboo starts on the bottom and loops around with a smaller branch at the top and foliage in the center of the open area. Accession number was 1938.0054.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
