Carved Serpentine Chinese Seal

Item Details

An early 20th or late 19th century carved serpentine Chinese seal. The stone is finely polished and reveals areas of spinach tone, translucent white and russet. Characters carved to the underside.

This item tested as serpentine. Accession number was 1938.0042
