Vintage Hisimo Tin Litho Trolley Car and Cast Iron Pickup Truck
Item Details
A pair of vintage toy vehicles. This green partially enclosed trolley car features individual passengers and staff, each constructed of two printed tin pieces depicting the person in profile. The car’s signs read ‘Municipal Railway’, ‘504’, ‘Bay and Taylor’ and ‘Powell and Market’; the car is also marked with a Hisimo logo, ‘Trade Mark Made in Japan’ and ‘Pat. No. 828613’. Also included is a painted cast iron pickup truck.
Condition
- surface wear with areas of paint loss to truck; light surface wear and dust to trolley car; any mechanical components untested.
