1981 Limited Edition John Wilkinson "The Meadowland Butterfly Vase"

A 1981 Franklin Porcelain limited edition vase designed by John Wilkinson with an accompanying wood base for display. Wilkinson’s design presents images of butterflies in flight as well as resting upon small purple flowers. The body of the vase features widened shoulders, which narrow towards the foot, and a very short neck that ascends into a 24K gold rim. The underside bears the Franklin Porcelain logo and reads ‘The Meadowland Butterfly Vase by John Wilkinson/ Limited Edition /Fine Porcelain 1981.’
