Pair of Vintage Tins Including Canco
Item Details
A pair of vintage tins. The smaller rectangular yellow tin is marked ’Rich’s Crystallized Canton Ginger – Manufactured By E.C. Rich, Inc. New York’. The Canco bread box tin, made by the American Can Company from the 1920s to the 1940s, has scenes from women in kitchens around the world. These depictions on the panels include ‘Early New England’, ‘Acadian’, ‘French’, and ‘Spanish’; the top lid has an illustration titled ‘Dutch Kitchen’. The hinged top has a clasped closure.
