Vintage Mexican Feathercraft and Yarn Wall Art
Item Details
A set of three pieces of vintage Mexican wall art. Featured are two feathercraft pieces, each depicting birds in mixed media compositions of brightly colored paint and feathers on paper. The works are labeled ‘Mexico’ in black paint to the lower margin. Each is presented under glass in a rustic carved wooden frame. One of the frames includes a hanging tab to the verso as well as a mid-century sheet explaining ‘The Story of Mexican Feathercraft’, marked ‘Made in Mexico’. The set also features a piece of colorful yarn art, depicting a crested bird in hues of pink, blue, green, red, cream and yellow. The work is mounted to board fitted with a hanging tab to the verso.
