An Eastlake style convertible highchair. This piece is oak with a woven seat and back. It features an intricately carved and incises crest rail to the shield shaped back. It has a curved tray attached, which can be raised and lowered behind the seat. It stands on hinged legs with turned stretchers. The chair can be converted from a highchair to a low toddler rocking chair.
