A hand-knotted Afghani Baluch pictorial area rug. This rug displays a frontal city scene with roadways and cars in the foreground and the skyline in the distance. The imagery is executed in a palette of dark blue, rust, brown, light red and sand tones with a geometrical patterned border. The rug is finished with natural warp fringe to either end and is unmarked.
