A signed, limited edition serigraph titled Jewish Museum by Robert Rauschenberg (American 1925 – 2008). The black and white poster for The Jewish Museum is an abstract composition of shapes, photographic images, and text. It is signed ‘Rauschenberg’ and numbered 25/200 in pencil to the lower right. The print is mounted under glass in a silver tone metal frame that is wired for hanging. A native Texan, Robert Rauschenberg lived and worked in New York City. An eclectic artist who experimented with unusual combinations of methods and materials, he is considered to have led the way to pop art. His first retrospective exhibition was organized by The Jewish Museum in 1963.
