A hand-knotted Afghani pictorial war rug. This accent rug depicts war imagery with helicopters, tanks, and guns and reads ‘2014’ throughout. The rug is executed in shades of brown, olive green, red and blue upon a dark cream ground. The rug was made in Anist which is also written on the rug. The rug is finished with a singular border and natural warp fringe to either end and is unmarked on the underside.
