Community "South Seas" Silver Plate Flatware Set in a Presentation Case

A silver plate flatware set for twelve by Community. These are in the 1955 designed South Seas pattern featuring scrolling waves on the shoulders and tapering handles. The set includes twelve dinner knives with stainless steel blades, twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twelve place spoons, twelve teaspoons, and twelve place soup spoons. There is also a pie server, a berry spoon, a master butter knife, a cold meat fork, a cocktail fork, two serving spoons, and two pierced bowl serving spoons. These are presented with a dinner knife with a stainless blade in an alternate pattern. The set is stored within an original double level wooden storage case.
Condition
- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing; some minor scratches to the chest.
