Art Deco Style Offset Lithographs With Reverse Painted Bubble Glass
Item Details
A selection of Art Deco style offset lithographs with reverse painted bubble glass. This set of three offset lithographs feature courting scenes with couples in Antebellum clothing, framed in black metal frames with bubble glass. The glass has decorative images painted in black in the upper corner and along the base. One of the pieces is marked ‘CO PR S COLEF 3-19-48,’ the other two are marked ‘CO PR S COLEF 12-1- 1941.’ All pieces include hanging hooks to the versos.
Condition
- to fair; the prints are yellowed with age, some of the prints have creases along the edges which flows into the image and some of the paint is chipping off the metal frames.
