Vintage Standard Novelty Works "Lightning Guider" Sled
Item Details
A vintage wooden sled, manufactured by Standard Novelty Works, dating to the 1940s-1950s. This sled has a metal frame and slatted wooden seat. A string is connected to the upper handle for assistance in steering. The slated seating area is marked ‘Lightning Guider’ in red tone ink. The bottom underside is marked with the product stamp ‘Mig. by Standard Novelty Works, Duncannon, Pa., #122 1/5.’
Condition
- some rust and wear to paint on metal hardware.
