Offset Lithograph After Zhao Mengfu's "Autumn Colors on the Qiao"

An offset lithograph after Zhao Mengfu’s (趙孟頫, 1254-1322) Autumn Colors on the Qiao and Hua Mountains. This print on paper, which is a selection of the right portion of the original scroll composition, depicts a lone mountain surrounded by a canopy of trees. Chinese characters and emblems are found in vertical arrangements to the margins of the composition. The print is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a stained wooden frame with a felt support stand affixed to the verso.
Condition
- minor nicks and scratches throughout frame; print fading; frame missing left slat; backing board has patch missing from surface at top left portion.
